I have always been a bit of a do-it-yourself enthusiast. At first, my decision to fix things on my own was made purely out of the fact that I had no money to pay a professional to do the job. However, as the years went by, this decision switched from one made out of financial necessity to one made out of pride.
Today, I still love the feeling I get each time I accomplish something around my home, but I also know that some jobs are best left to the professionals. If you are like me, distinguishing between DIY and professional projects can be difficult. That is precisely why I wanted to start this blog. It is my hope that the more you learn about how different projects are completed, the better prepared you will be to either do the job yourself, or hire the right contractor for the job.
